A - Act your age? Most of the time, people who know me (ie, from work) think I'm older than I am, so I'd have to say I act at least my age or older, since I certainly don't look my age (which you would think would be a good thing, except when people assume my husband is my father. That's NOT cool.)
B - Born on what day of the week? Computer calendar says it was a Friday.
C - Chore you hate? Most of them?
D - Dad's name? Gregg
E - Essential makeup item? I don't wear makeup, except for those times when my sister does it for me, which are rare.
F - Favorite actor/actress? Not sure I have a specific favourite. I like a lot of different ones for a variety of reasons.
G - Gold or silver? White gold.
H - Hometown? A place called Campbell River, but I don't live there right now.
I - Instruments you play? I can play anything, just none with any talent or knowledge.
J - Job title? Registered nurse
K - Kids? A ten year old girl.
L - Living arrangements? My hubby and I own our house.
M - Mum's name? Dianne
N - Nude? Not at present.
O - Overnight hospital stays? Not counting when I was born, there have been two, though one was a week-long admission.
P - Phobias? Calling people on the telephone when I don't know them well. This doesn't apply to calls I make at work or to, for example, the telephone company or other utilities. Just personal calls. I only really talk to my sister on the phone, everyone else I communicate with through email or text messaging (or Facebook) to plan things.
Q - Quote you like? What, just one? Current favourite - "I would never stab you in the back. I'd rather come at you from the front so I don't miss the look on your face." - Ursula, coworker.
R - Religious affiliation? None.
S - Siblings? Younger sister.
T - Time you wake up? 0540 on work days, 0700 when the Kid's in school, 0700-0800 or so on days off that are weekends or during summer. Between 1400-1530 in the afternoon when I'm working nights.
U - Unique habit? Um... not sure. I have a ton of habits but I doubt any of them are unique enough to be noteworthy.
V - Vegetable you refuse to eat? Beets (my Ukrainian ancestors are turning over in their graves as we speak), olives (are they vegetables?), asparagus unless it's chopped up and hidden, raw onions (cooked are fine -- it's a texture thing.)
W - Worst habit? See above under "unique habit"
X - X-rays you've had? Teeth, broken right ankle.
Y - Yummy food you make? I make a nummy spaghetti sauce.
