Still dabbling with making things in photoshop aside from my usual photograph editing and christmas cards.

I've been slowly building myself a website, doing the coding myself as a sort of a challenge.  I'm pretty much up to date with the Buffy pages and so I started working on the pages for my older Star Wars fics.  Now, after doing Buffy pages, many of which have pretty banners, I noticed that my Star Wars stories didn't look quite as nice without a piece of artwork to go with them.

So, I made one.

For you non-Star Wars fic friends (that would be all but four of you), this is for a story called Best Intentions that I started in 2004.  It's not finished (may not ever be), but it's probably my best work from that time, and it's a favourite.   Banner starring Josh Hartnett as Jag Fel and Michelle Trachtenberg-turned-blonde as Tahiri Veila.

Today I officially declared my two beloved Star Wars fics abandoned.  I haven't felt the desire to write on them in ages, and despite the fact that I really loved both of them (the shorter, second fic moreso than the first).  I'm so disillusioned with Star Wars right now that I just can't get into it.  It makes me sad, because I've held on so long to these, hoping I'd find the inspiration to write, but it's just not there.  Despite not posting in probably a year on A Twist of Fate, it's only within the past few months that it's become locked - for the first time ever.  So I'm letting them go.  The people who were around at the JCF when I first started there I think have mostly moved on, and it's just not fun anymore.

So, turning my attention to my new fanfic love, all things Buffy, with the hopes of having something online very soon.

This is a list of links to my off-site, Star Wars fanfiction.  These are all found at theforce.net's Jedi Council Forums.  All are rated PG due to the terms of service of the site, though I will provide a link to an extended version of an NC-17 chapter of A Twist of Fate.  These stories are self-beta'd only and represent my first endeavours in fan fiction.  One of them is a collaboration.  Three of them are unfinished WIPs.

Summary: During Rebel Dream, Jaina risks her life to save Jag Fel's. What would happen if it wasn't Jag's life Jaina saved, but Kyp Durron's?

Best Intentions

Summary: Four years ago, Tahiri Veila left Zonama Sekot and nobody has seen or heard from her since.  Jag Fel, finding himself in need of fuel, makes a stop over on a backwater planet, and runs into a familiar face.

Mischief & Mistletoe

Summary: The Solos throw a Fête Week party from their new home on Denon, the first such celebration after the end of the war, with family and friends. Have some holiday fun, Star Wars style.

What Ever You Do, Do Not Get Lost

Summary: Kyp and Jaina take a very bored Ben to a haunted house.  Written for Halloween 2004 Challenge # 1
Status: Complete, one-shot.

Kyp Durron & The Perogies of the Sith
Setting: AU, post-NJO
Pairing: Jaina Solo/Kyp Durron
Summary: I was making perogies with my mother (we made 30+ dozen by hand). We were discussing A Twist of Fate, and I said something about how being able to use the Force would make the whole perogy-making-by-hand thing go faster. Then she goes and says something like, “Kyp Durron and the Force Perogies” or something (yes, my Mommy reads Star Wars as religiously as I do!)…anyway, stupid plot bunny born.
Status: Complete, one-shot.

Desires of a Sleepless Mind
Setting: AU, post-NJO
Pairing/Characters: Jaina Solo/Jag Fel, Kyp Durron
Summary: Five years after the end of the Yuuzhan Vong war, Jaina’s life and her career are vastly different from what she would have imagined – and not necessarily in a good way. Can the reappearance of two old friends help direct her life out of the bleak tailspin it has begun?
