As the result of a favour I did for a friend/coworker (switched an entire set of shifts with her so she could attend a family event they'd denied her holidays for), I ended up working two sets of shifts back to back with only a day and a half off between them.  Needless to say, I'm tired.  I had a busy shift last night full of confused and violent patients, and despite sleeping not too badly today I'm fighting a horrible headache that's settled in nicely just behind my eyes.  I have one more night shift to go tonight (7pm to 7am), and then I have a whole two weeks off!  So needing that right now.

In other news, great big THANK YOU to the person or persons who nominated Whispers and Bake Me a Bloody Cake at the Fang Fetish awards and congrats to those on my f-list who've been nominated, too.  I've said it before and I'll say it again - this fandom and its people ROCK MY SOCKS.

Oh god, I've taken those things home so often it isn't funny. I even know at precisely which intersection on the way home they lose signal - usually because whatever call bell was ringing suddenly cuts off! Fortunately, we don't use the phones on nights so it's just the narc keys I have to worry about!

And I have brought those home before, too. Oopsie?
