I don't own a ton of DVD movies, aside from a few big favs, but I really do like owning TV shows, because I can watch them whenever I like, which is good for my schedule. I miss so many episodes when they are airing due to my work schedule that the DVDs are great. I guess I could rent them, but I like to have them :) I'm the same way with books.
