I re-watched Tough Love this morning to remind myself of the story line so that I didn't mess anything up while writing the sequel to Whispers, and I realized that I had already messed things up *grumble*.  Here I was thinking that Buffy's meeting with Dawn's principal about Dawn's absenteeism had already happened before Intervention, but apparently, nope, so oopsie?  Fortunately it was an easy fix - changed three or four sentences in the first paragraph of chapter four.  Author's note left to indicate why, but, grrr, I hate that I did that.

yes, thank goodness! I'm also mentally creating a list of requirements for that beta I'm planning on acquiring very soon . . .

LOL - one of them being a good memory/knowledge of canon events? I sooo need that in my betas. I'm terrible about remembering stuff, and too lazy to look it up just in case. About the only time I look something up is if I'm aware that I'm probably screwing with timelines - then I'll go take a look somewhere. The rest of the time, I rely on what I remember. Never a good idea...

Why yes, that would be one of them! I do tend to look things up but this bit I completely missed - probably because that whole chapter was added on after I had most of the rest of the story planned and so it skipped my research radar.
